The promotion conference for the 7th China International SME Fair was successfully held at KIKT Conference Hall on June 8. All sectors of Indonesia attached great importance to the promotion conference. Representatives from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ¨C China Committee and the Indonesia-China Small and Medium Enterprises Association attended the conference.
The conference was presided over by Mr. Eddy Widjaja Sakti, KIKT Secretary General, on which Mr. Jauw Mo Jan, Vice Chairman of KIKT, extended his warm welcome to the visiting delegation and delivered a speech. Mr. Shen Rongsheng, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of China International SME Fair briefly introduced CISMEF and the preparation for CISMEF 2010 with a focus on the layout of pavilions, exhibitor and visitor invitation, and business matching. He sincerely wished the Indonesian institutional participants would continue to pay attention to and support the Fair. He also invited Indonesian SMEs and relevant organs to participate in CISMEF 2010 as to promote the exchange and cooperation between Indonesian and Chinese SMEs. Indonesian representatives present at the conference universally recognized the role played by CISMEF in the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean SMEs. They said they were willing to actively assist in organizing Indonesian SMEs for participation in the Fair. On the conference, the staff from the Bureau of CISMEF had an extensive exchange with Indonesian representatives and answered their questions.
The 7th China International SME Fair is to be held from September 15 to 18, 2010 at Guangzhou International Conference & Exhibition Center, China. Australia has been invited to be the co-host country. This Fair will have an exhibition space of about 100,000 sq m with 5,000 international standard booths. Among them, 4,000 will be offered to domestic SMEs and 1,000 for foreign exhibitors. CISMEF 2010 will carry forward the exhibition tenet as a ¡°platform of display, exchange, trade and cooperation¡± for Chinese and foreign SMEs, attach more emphasis on being more international and specialized, solidly advance the cooperation and business matching among enterprises and practically enhance actual effect of exhibitions for the enterprises.
