The promotion conference for the 7th China International SME Fair was successfully held at the Conference Hall of Singapore-China Business Association on June 11,which was highly valued among the Singaporean commercial circles. Mr. Lee Kam Yoon, Vice President of Singapore-China Business Association, and representatives of enterprises from Singaporean industrial and commercial circles, attended the conference.
Mr. Lee presided over the conference and, on behalf of the Association, extended his cordial welcome to the visiting delegation, and delivered a speech. Mr. Shen Rongsheng, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of China International SME Fair briefly introduced CISMEF and the preparation for CISMEF 2010, with a focus on the layout of pavilions, exhibitor and visitor invitation, and business matching. He sincerely invited the Singaporean institutional participants and corporations to pay attention to and support the Fair. He also invited Singaporean SMEs and relevant organizations to participate in CISMEF 2010 as to promote the exchange and cooperation between Singaporean and Chinese SMEs. Singaporean representatives present at the conference universally recognized the role played by CISMEF in the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean SMEs. They said they were willing to actively assist in organizing Singaporean SMEs for participation in the Fair. On the conference, the staff from the Bureau of CISMEF had an extensive exchange with the Singaporean representatives and answered their questions.
Singapore-China Business Association indicated that it would collaborate with the Bureau in exhibitor and visitor invitation for CISMEF 2010 and continue to organize the participation of Singaporean SMEs.
The 7th China International SME Fair is to be held from September 15 to 18, 2010 at Guangzhou International Conference & Exhibition Center, China. Australia has been invited to be the co-host country. This Fair will have an exhibition space of about 100,000 sq m with 5,000 international standard booths. Among them, 4,000 will be offered to domestic SMEs and 1,000 for foreign exhibitors. CISMEF 2010 will carry forward the exhibition tenet as a ¡°platform of display, exchange, trade and cooperation¡± for Chinese and foreign SMEs, attach more emphasis on being more international and specialized, solidly advance the cooperation and business matching between enterprises and practically enhance actual effect of exhibitions for the enterprises.
