The delegation of CISMEF, headed by Deputy Director-general Wang Shengbo, paid a visit to Japan-China Economic Association (JCEA) on the afternoon of June 23, and was received by Mr. Issei Nakamura, Director of the Business Department, and representatives of the Planning and Research Department of Japan-China Economic Association.
Wang Shengbo gave a brief introduction to CISMEF and a detailed introduction to preparations and progress of the 7th CISMEF to JCEA, and expressed his hope that this visit would help develop and enhance long-term cooperation with JECA. Wang Shengbo also extended an invitation to JCEA to participate in activities of the 7th CISMEF.
Meeting of the delegation with Japan-China Economic Association
Mr. Nakamura said that JCEA is one of the seven associations with the purpose of enhancing mutual friendship between Japan and China. In the past three decades since its foundation, it has been promoting and expanding economic exchanges between the two sides. As an important window of trading with China, JCEA has played a vital role in promoting exchanges between Japanese and Chinese industrial associations. JCEA will continue to assist CISMEF in organizing Japanese enterprises to participate in the 7th CISMEF and strengthen its cooperation with CISMEF in SME field.
