On the morning of June 23, the delegation of the secretariat of the CISMEF Organizing Committee, headed by Wang Shengbo, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of China International SME Fair, paid a visit to the Tokyo-based headquarters of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and was received by Masami Ando, Director of Overseas Trade Fair Division under Trade Fair Department of JETRO.
Wang Shengbo gave a brief introduction to CISMEF and a detailed introduction to preparations and progress of the 7th CISMEF and conception of the honorary co-host country mechanism. Wang Shengbo said during the 4th CISMEF, co-hosted by Japan and China, JETRO, as one of the main organizers from Japan, made significant contribution to the success of the 4th CISMEF, and that JETRO had proactively organized Japanese businesses to participate in every CISMEF held in the past. Wang Shengbo also showed his gratitude to JETRO for its consistent support to CISMEF.

Masami Ando said that CISMEF was one of the JETRO¡¯s important target place for overseas promotion, and that JETRO would continue to organize enterprises to participate in the 7th CISMEF to display Japanese quality products and advanced technologies from sectors such as electrical, energy-saving, environmental protection and medical care, and give its full support to the conception of the honorary co-host country mechanism.
