Fair Profile:

In the Climate Change Conference Copenhagen 2009, Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council had meetings with representatives from all over the world. The Chinese Government declared for the first time that, the carbon dioxide emission per GDP unit would be reduced by 40% to 45% to year 2020, comparing with the year 2005. It can be estimated that environmental protection and energy-saving business will meet a great development opportunity in China. According to the development and reform commission, Chinese government is making a development plan for energy-saving and environmental protection industries. In 2015, the output of environmental protection industry should accounts for about 7% of GDP.

The first China (Guangzhou) International Energy-Saving and Environmental-Protection Fair was held in 2009 as a sub-fair of CISMEF(China International SME Fair), over 60 exhibitors with 120 booths joined the fair, attracting about 6000 Trade visitors. The fair created an excellent platform for both exhibitors and SME to explore business cooperation under the circumstance of the Chinese environmental-protection policies. The 2^nd fair was held in 2010, as a sub-brand fair. It experienced a progress of 120 exhibitors and 200 booths. Over 8000 trade visitors came to the fair, and found their potential business partner in solution to either energy saving or environmental protection. With the achievement in the first two fairs, the China (Guangzhou) International Energy-Saving and Environmental-Protection Fair will expand to 10000 sqm of fair space. It is predicted that over 300 exhibitors (500 booths) and 10000 trade visitors will participate in the fair.

Buyers Information:

As many as 354 government departments in Guangdong province will be invited, they are Environmental-Protecion Bureaus, Hydrological Bureaus, Water Convervncy Bureaus and Construction Contractors in every city of Guangdong. Meanwhile, over 100000 invitations to trade visitors from power staions, metal smelting companies, chemical companies, textile factories, manufacturing factories, eco industry companies as well as institutes will be sent by e-mails, post, sms and fax.
